I have no real feelings towards Barbie and this movie still seems like its for me.

Personally, I liked the menacing, brooding Ryan in Driver but his other roles have been just as enjoyable.

I will always love the fact that Gosling is abnormally gorgeous, he knows it, and he has played nothing but abnormally gorgeous, but deeply flawed if not downright messed up individuals. It's very funny how consistent his picks are, tbh.

I'll halfway expect Ken to comically murder people and be unaware of what death is.

Barbie Is Afraid

This line confused me. Isn't Barbie a doctor too? Along with every other profession? Why would being a man matter?

His interaction with the doctor was unexpected and felt completely out of character to me. But your pointing to the culture shock that Ken will have has me realizing he'll be experiencing a world where he's viewed as the one in charge as opposed to his home world where Barbie "rules". It's not just going to be Barbie who's having to come to terms with how the real world views her but Ken as well

I thought it was very funny, and I thought the audience that they portrayed was totally real, but the actors that they were pretending to be were totally unrecognizable. Certainly I don't know what Tim Allen was doing. He seemed to be the head of a group of actors, and for the life of me I was trying to understand who he was imitating. The only one I recognized was the girl playing Nichelle Nichols.
