The theory being that Trump can never be prosecuted as President, and never prosecuted if he's running for President. So basically all he has to do is always be running and he can crime all he wants. Brilliant!
The only way this fails is if he wins in 2024. After the end of his second term, he'd be vulnerable, since he couldn't run again. Or he would be, if we still had a functioning country at that point, which I doubt.

Here's the tell. The louder these worthless mega congress members whine the more likely a conviction is coming.
40 years of crime with no conviction. I like they are starting with the small stuff and end with the bigger. Should make a great show. Stock up on popcorn.

If you're gonna go down the rabbit hole of fantasies that Trump could ever win again, go all in and eat the conspiracy theory that he & the Rethuglicans would change the 22nd Amendment so that Trump (and Trump alone) could be president for life.....

Or, Trump could simply run for a third term anyway, and when people point out how literally unconstitutional that is Trump can ask why everyone is so mean to him and just dare some state to throw him off the ballot and risk the next January 6 style riot straight to their office.

Yeah, the Constitution means nothing to Republicans, so that's a good point. Since Trump insists he won last time, by his own logic and statements, he actually is ineligible to run now - and yet he is.
The 22nd amendment says you can only be elected to the office of the President twice, which he claims has happened. It doesn't say you get an extra go if for some reason you didn't actually get to do any Presenting during one or both of those terms. So he can't be elected again.

I just heard sexual predator enabler Gym Jordan on the radio calling the case against Trump as an "accounting error."
This is just how far up your own ass you have to shove your head in order to still support the Orange Turd. To call paying hush money to a porn star you had an affair with while your wife was recovering from childbirth that you then stupidly attempted to claim as a legal expense as an accounting error. Sadly, Gym knows that their are plenty of MAGA Morons who will buy it.

I would venture to guess that there is a large percentage of MAGAs that think an "accounting error" is when the Sesame Street Count makes a mistake.

Nah, it's much more shitty than that - they do not fucking care. They actually believe most of shit Trump is accused of is in fact true. But they think that's one of the benefits of being rich: you can do whatever the fuck you want.
So, the do not give a good goddamn that Trump committed tax fraud by calling hush money payments to a porn star that he slept with "legal fees" that he then deducted from his business revenue as an "expense."
The Left needs to stop thinking that these people need to "wake up" to what Trump is. Trust me, they know. They just don't care. At the end of the day, most of the MAGA Morons have no real values or scruples despite whatever they claim.

Eugene V. Debs was convicted of sedition after urging resistance to the military draft in 1918. He ran for President in 1920 while imprisoned in the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary. He received 919,799 votes.
I see no reason why Trump couldn't do the same.

This just in.
Tiger King demands release from prison to run for President. Claims not doing so interferes with Presidential election.
