Just saying, the DM is the problem here not your girlfriend. She only did what the DM autorised her to do. Hell, they PLANNED this together.

You know when I complain that there was too much infos ? When the info was tedious or boring to read.

I love extra long posts that are well written and have a good story, told nicely.

But you bet your ass I'm going to complain about boring tedious long stories when they are tedious boring long stories, even if I love long and good stories.

It's a very good way to stretch planifications and not having to plan anything as a DM. Besides that, it's horseshit.

Funny thing is, I actually work in a library. And a library where you do not know where the books are... is a very very VERY bad library. What's even the fucking point ? If you cannot find a specific book, it's not a library, it's a horrible book depository.

And if you go in a library looking for a book without knowing what the book even is, congrats the quest is now impossible. Again, I know. I sometimes have this :

"it's a red book, it's recet, in the last 2-3 years, they talked about it in the radio last month..." and then I mentally facepalm and ask : ok, what can I do to find it then ?

Might as well have the one shot being a huge pile of books and you keep rolling a d1000 until you hit a 1 and "find" a book at this point.
