In the British Military, officers have to have come from the "right" kind of family, and the people doing the vetting already came from the "right" kind of family.
Is there a racial component? Obviously, it's a white country, and a lot of the "right" kind of families, are white.
Thing is, its not actually racially motivated, like a lot of discrimination in this country, its class based, and there are just more white upper class families than non-white.
I am a white male, and I wouldnt have been officer material in the Britsh Military, because I am not from the right background.
And these old families hang on to their elitism and keep a very tight circle, it will be a long time before non-whites make any real impact.
The British Military are the conservative party on steroids with uniforms.
And in the RAF, you cannot be a pilot without being a commissioned officer, and officer take precedence.
As for female pilots, the high G maneuvers of Fighter Pilots can have long term detrimental effects on fertility, so unless you want to risk being sterile, your looking at Helicopters and Transport Aircraft, the bin men and plumbers of the Airforce.

You still haven't clarified a thing. You appear to be equating all Ukrainian forces as Nazis, because 1 or more units are historically related to the SS.
Not only does that not prove they still follow a Nazi ideology, but even if they do, that doesnt mean all of Ukraine does.
Let's not forget who invaded who, lets not forget which country sends assassins into other sovereign states to poison people.
Whether the Ukraine has or has not got some fascists, does not mean they cannot defend their homes from an aggressor who is committing war crimes on a daily basis.
If the Russians stop fighting, the war ends. If the Ukrainians stop fighting, the Ukrainians end.
Please explain, using full sentences, how I am A: a liberal B: a fascist C: both

While I have no time for Nazi's, they are still entitled to defend their country along with their fellow countrymen against a foreign aggressor.
A unit inspired by the SS does not make the entire defence forces Nazis.

What an excellent use of public funds. Looks like we are going full authoritarian, and not even trying to hide it.
Reminds me of that other video of the leader of either North Korea or China with all those dudes in suits running alongside the limo.
If you need this much protection in your own countries streets, maybe, just maybe, you passed a point of no return on the path to Fascism

But the State as it currently is, is in the pockets of the Rich. The PM is married to a millionaire, the State cannot be trusted, and the 2 main parties have different coloured ties, and that's the only way to tell them apart.

My point was really, you cant discount 1 form of ID because non-citizens can get, and allow others. AFAIK driving licence is valid ID.
The only real ID non citizens cannot get is a passport, and that doesnt contain your address.
We haven't had anywhere near any level of voter fraud to warrant this, and will only affect people who cant afford some form of ID for whatever reason.

Forgive my ignorance, but doesn't a driving licence count for ID, and can't non-citizens get a driving licence?

It's not really war mongering.
Russia is a very large threat, and sitting on the sidelines hoping Ukraine is victorious is a fool's errand.
If we dont help the Ukraine now, when?

You are aware that despite numerous lawsuits and investigations, the only fraud discovered was in the hands of Republicans, and there is even evidence surfacing that the 2016 election that got Trump power was influenced by Russia.
Siding with Russia over America is an assault on Democracy.
Get out of whatever echo chamber you are living in and find some neutral information on the subject.
But at the very least, stop sniffing glue.

WTF are you smoking. You might want to wake up from your delusions. If you break a law, sure you can be arrested. Incitement to violence and other types of speech have consequences.
They cant stop you saying things, that's your freedom, but they can punish you if the intent of the speech is to cause harm

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. Just because you can/have the right to say something, doesnt always mean you should.

More middle ground, giving thoughts on events, love these guys.
You dont really want left or right wing, you need a mix, or better yet, people who are reasonable that can give you a new perspective.
The last thing people need is echo chambers.
The only Hasan I know off is that raving lunatic that told a Trans viewer they didnt know anything about being trans, and he hoped they died. Frankly after seeing that clip, in or out of context, it's all I need to know someone is a self serving dick.

Having your location on at all times is going to use your data, are they paying for that? I realise I might be in a minority, but I never put on my location or data roaming unless I'm using it as sat nav.
As with all things, there is always a cost, and while some might have unlimited data, not all do. And it's your data to use as you see fit, not the schools

NAL - If you are pretty certain he is going to get fired, I suggest you and him sit down and write a letter, mainly bullet points for him to refer to, detailing the lack of supervision and training you have received, and where the feedback is coming from as the manager has been absent.
All his absences will be tallied with HR, so if he hasn't been there as much as you say, then he has failed in his duty of care to a new employer
They have also had 3 months to inform him, so you would like to see evidence of what you did wrong, when, and why it wasnt brought up before hand.
Remind them, you gave up a job for this, on the understanding you would receive adequate training and supervision, of which you received non.
Basically, if he is sure he is getting fired, make sure he has something to fight back with, this workshy lazy manager needs to be made to squirm in front of HR, your partner might be out the door, but do they want to waste talent and go through the hiring process all over again due to manager lazyness/incompetence.
I am a big believer in going down swinging.
Being born into the truth, admittedly, has its pros and cons.
Until you die, and then come back to life with proof positive, it's a guess not the truth
Being shunned is to the give that person time to repent and time to think however it’s incredibly rare.
Wow, just wow. Some might consider being ostracized akin to torture, especially in close knit communities, just for not believing in someone elses guesswork.
Edit....eh guess quote doesnt work, ah well
