Mercedes me not connecting to car via mobile internet

I’ve had my MB EQA for just over a couple of weeks.
I’ve enabled all the services, signed up for the Vodafone internet comfort service etc. and I can use all the features of the Mercedes me app BUT ONLY WHILST ON A WI-FI CONNECTION!
It just will not connect over mobile data, I just get the banner at the bottom of the page saying lost connection to vehicle and the “connect” button, which doesn’t work!
Does anyone have the same issue? Any idea if it’s a network or a phone issue?
I’m at a loss and it’s really frustrating me!

Hello, sorry have been away and luckily had a free vpn service with my Dashlane password manager app which I’ve been using.
I have also raised a ticket with O2 but have heard nothing!
However….
I have received the below response from the app developers after putting a review on the Apple App Store which now seems to suggest it may be an app issue!
The good thing is they seem to be aware and think they will roll out a fix.
